“This study focuses on the possible impact of sea-level rise on the population, transportation network, residential areas, and the market pricing for housing in Richmond, BC. This study makes use of several GIS databases such as Digital Elevation Models (DEM’s), demographic and socioeconomic data indicators, housing attributes, residential conveyance prices, daily commuting patterns of local residents, transportation network analysis and developed a set of four scenarios to assess and visualize the impacts of potential inundation based on an SLR of 1–4 meters.”
